Bernard Cooney is a Senior Partner at Flagship Pioneering and focuses on capital formation at the fund and portfolio levels. Previously, Mr. Cooney was the Managing Director of the Equity Capital Markets Group at UBS Investment Bank. Previously, he held a variety of roles in the institutional securities businesses at both UBS and Morgan Stanley, mostly focused on the healthcare sector. Mr. Cooney received a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Georgetown University, McDonough School of Management.
