John Waldron

John Waldron is president and chief operating officer of Goldman Sachs.

In addition to his responsibilities at the firm, he is chair of the International Advisory Board of the Atlantic Council, as well as a member of the Executive Committee of the Institute of International Finance, the International Advisory Council of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, the US-China Business Council, the International Advisory Panel of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the Aspen Economic Strategy Group, and the Council on Foreign Relations.

John also serves on the boards of the Cleveland Clinic, the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Middlebury College, and Southern Methodist University.

He graduated from Middlebury College in 1992.
